Previously a full-time associate with Stenger, Diamond & Glass, LLP, Karen P. MacNish is now of counsel with the firm. She has been practicing with SDG Law since 2001. She concentrates in civil litigation, including some appellate practice. Currently, her work focuses on discovery, motion practice and legal research.
Areas of her litigation experience include contracts, real property disputes, employment-related disputes, Article 78 proceedings, zoning and land use issues, recovery of commercial real estate broker commissions, personal injury, and estate litigation.
Karen is a native of Poughkeepsie, New York and has lived most of her life in Dutchess County. She is married and has two children. She is a volunteer with Girl Scouts as a Troop Leader and as Treasurer of her daughter’s local Girl Scout Unit.
SDG Law will handle pre-trial procedures including interlocutory hearings, and the port-trial procedures such as costs and enforcement of a judgment for individuals and businesses.
We have prevailed in civil and criminal appeals at many levels. Our attorneys are admitted to handle appeals before the New York’s Supreme Court Appellate Division, the New York State Court of Appeals, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals (federal court) and the U.S. Supreme Court.
